Little Bird

Breathe easy, Little Bird.

Your wings sing a thousand words.

As the ocean rolls forever,

Into the sea we die together.

Breathe Easy, little one.

Gently whispering this song.

What is mine is yours to share,

as precious as the air.

Though our voices may be different

We both love and feel the rain

That makes the forests green

And means we are the same.

Breathe easy, little girl,

while your world is in a whirl.

Be careful not to drown

Or be the fool that wears the crown.

And every time you listen to the voices in your head,

Just remember you must catch them if they make your cheeks turn red.

Breathe easy, Little Bird.

With your feathers, barely heard.
